Abstract: El propósito de este trabajo fue adaptar y validar el cuestionario de apego "Personas en mi Vida" (PIML, Cook, Greenberg & Kusche, 1995), el cual pretende evaluar las percepciones que tienen niños de edad escolar sobre las relaciones de apego con sus padres, pares y maestros y en los ambientes de escuela y vecindario. Esta validación contó con una muestra de 2274 participantes bogotanos entre los 8 y 14 años de edad, escolarizados y provenientes de diferentes estratos socioeconómicos. Los resultados mostraron coeficientes satisfactorios de consistencia interna, y una correspondencia general entre la estructura factorial extraída y la propuesta por los autores del cuestionario. Sin embargo, del análisis factorial surge un nuevo factor llamado "alienación" y los factores Maestros y Escuela conforman un sólo factor. El aporte principal de este estudio es brindar un instrumento válido que permita desarrollar una mayor investigación del apego en el contexto sociocultural iberoamericano.
